Receive free lead-based paint hazard remediation activities + emergency repairs in homes with a pregnant woman and/or a child under the age of 6 living in or regularly visiting the home.

The Michigan Homeowner Assistance Fund (MiHAF) provides up to $25,000 for homeowners behind on mortgage (or land contracts), property taxes, and utilities.

City/County programs can help income eligible homeowners reduce current and back taxes. If you make below $23,055 as a 1-person household or $32,860 for a 4-person household you are eligible for a full or partial reduction in your annual property tax. You must re-apply annually.
